This website represents my work, my perspective and my passion for traditions, cultures and the art of photography.

Since 1996, I have had the opportunity to travel the world extensively (44 countries, 2008) and my appetite for understanding human nature across the globe grows stronger. I document both individuals and people to show their connection to or alienation from their surroundings.

My mantra is simple: engage with the local people, work to make your presence welcome and thus be able to capture an authenticity which resonates in your cells, calling to you from a silent place deep within.

My definition of Native photography is quite basic: it reflects the longing of the soul to return to nature, to tradition, to simplicity, and to the interconnectedness between us all.

I hope to raise awareness of traditional cultures that have not entirely succumbed to the tempting force of globalization.
